Family Reunion

   "Oh my gosh!! You've grown so much!" You end up standing there awkwardly not knowing what to do as they hug and start up some small talk. Yep, That awkward moment when you are invited to someone else's cousin/relatives house. While they know everyone and they are chatting up a storm, you sit uncomfortably on the sofa, feeling like an foreigner to an unexplored world. Maybe you don't feel like that, but I sure know that's how I feel sometimes.

Let's Party!!! Or not...

   That awkward moment when someone is talking about a party that you're not invited to. Sure, maybe you're not going to be invite to every party, but still, it's just not right to talk about stuff like that in front of people who aren't invited.(In my opinion)
   "So you're coming right? " She went around the circle asking each girl if she was coming to her birthday. She and another girl were having their birthday party on the same day, and she was just checking to see if everyone she had invited to her birthday was coming. Sure, I didn't really know her all that well, but still, it was pretty awkward. It seemed like everyone was invited except me.  Sometimes I just pretend I'm not listening and look down at my shoes until the subject passes.

Eyes wide open

"It was gym class. And we we're playing a game, Octopus to be exact. A game in which a person stands in the middle of the gym and attempts to touch the passing students running from side of gym to side of gym and causing them to sit down and become "seaweed". I was it, and trying furiously to touch people, which was difficult based on my lack of skill. Once I finally had someone, they tried manoeuvre me and what was a reach for her back quickly became me grabbing her chest for an extended period of time before realizing what I had done. I don't think either of us ever got over that moment....awks"

   That awkward moment when you grab/stare at something/someone for an extended amount of time before you realize what/who it actually is. This has happened to me a lot. I find myself staring at something really intensely, just to figure out it's someone's butt. I hastily look away, like nothing happen, feeling my face flush, but it always happens. That moment when you start to zone out into space? When you jump back into reality, you've realized you've been staring at someone the whole time. And now they are giving you a puzzled expression. You end up feeling like a creep.

Hello stranger

"Hey I remember you! From kindergarten, remember?"
 It's that awkward moment when you just try to think really hard about it, but you can't remember someone who remember's you.  They know your name, and you can't put your finger on theirs. Then they start to describe all sorts of memories, and the kindergarten, or day care you went to, and you remember all of it. All of it, besides them.
This one time I went over to my friends house for a group meeting with a bunch of friends, and while we were walking to the park, this one guy joined us. Of course I didn't recognise him, I remember one of my friends texting him, but that was the extent of my memory. Then he recognised me and started asking me questions, and he turned out he used to be in my day care. He described a bunch of things about the daycare, who was there, and all that. And I remembered everything. Well, besides him. I tried thinking really hard, but he didn't ring a bell.   Oops! 0.o

A tough crowd

     HAHAHAHA. No. That awkward moment when you make a joke and nobody else thinks its funny. You start to laugh, anxiously waiting for someone else to start laughing too, but everyone else looks at you like you haven't said the punch line. Then you try to explain the joke, and it makes it even more awkward. 

    It just doesn't feel the same without other people laughing. It just makes you feel stupid.

   It's the same when everyone else finds some thing funny besides you. Everyone is laughing so hard and "rofl-ing", and you just stand there. Maybe pretending to laugh. 

    It happens to me in class sometimes. My class, with only 19 kids, can make as much noise as a class of 30+. Once, we were all in music class, and we were testing. Everyone kept messing up, and they all found it hilarious. Well, it seemed like the whole class found it funny. Besides me. Man it was awkward.

Opening

      Okay. So basically this blog is all about those lovely awkward moments. Because we let's admit it. this crazy world is FULL of really awkward moments. Like the memories that make you chuckle and blush in embarrassment. Like that one time you rushed into the opposite gender's washroom because your bladder was going to explode and all you could think about was that you didn't want to pee your pants; or you see a teacher outside of school. Little things like those that make you smile.   
     So just if you want to know, I'm not some creep. (Phew! Thank Goodness!) I'm just a regular kid who loves to live life to the fullest. I really don't mind those awkward moments, actually, I kind of like them. they are the type of memories that create inside jokes, and inside jokes are the best.
Oh here Are some pretty awkward situations in the pictures. Man that would suck to be them...
